Vortex Flow Meters From Nagmanflow

The recent choice for the gas, steam flow, and liquid measurement is Vortex flow meters that are used for measuring the supersaturated and saturated steam to improve the capability and allocation in large facilities. The main applications of Vortex flow meters are volumetric water flow and high flow gas facilities. They are used in steam, liquid, and gas industrial flow applications. It uses the fluid dynamics principle of vortex shedding that helps to calculate the velocity of gases, steam, and liquids.

The Vortex works with the use of a dimensional bluff, known as a shedder bar, in which the vortices begin to form and oscillate. The natural frequency of these vortices is converted into a digital signal which is then processed through the meter’s electronics to calculate the flow. The advantages are it is accurate and for measuring the flow. This method of measurement can be used with many types of fluids, steam, and even gases. As the Vortex flow meters lack moving mechanical components makes its construction more robust that can handle the toughest application environments.

The vortex flowmeters are used in Oil Industries, water treatment plants, Pharmaceuticals, and Petrochemical industries. In Nagman we provide you with a lot of options and varieties of flow meters with good quality and we also provide you the assistance needed for the whole process for your industries with more equipment needed for your Industry.

Positive Displacement Flow Meters From Nagman Flow

Positive Displacement flow meters are the best flow measuring equipment to openly measure the volume of fluid that travels through the flow meter. It attains this by trapping pockets of fluid amongst rotating components housed inside a high precision chamber. This can be associated to recurrently filling a beaker with fluid and pouring the contents downstream while calculating the number of times the beaker is filled. Rotor rotational velocity is directly related to flow rate since the flow of fluid is instigating the rotation.

In the case of electro magnetic flow meters, the rotating components involve magnets that trigger numerous sensor options located exterior to the fluid chamber. Mechanical positive shift flow sensors rely on the rotation to drive either a magnetic coupling or a direct gear train related to the mechanical counter.

Positive Displacement flow meters do not gratify a power supply for their operation and do not need straight upstream and downstream pipe runs for their setting up. Positive displacement flow meters are obtainable in sizes from in to 12 in and can function with turndowns as great as 100:1, although ranges of 15:1 or lower are much more communal. The slippage between the flow meter constituents is reduced and metering precision is consequently increased as the thickness of the process fluid increases.

The process fluid must be spotless. Particles greater than 100 microns in size must be detached by filtering. PD meters work with small clearances amid their precision-machined parts which worn out speedily and rescind their accuracy. For this reason, Positive Displacement flow meters are generally not suggested for measuring slurries or coarse fluids. In fresh fluid services, nevertheless, their precision and wide rangeability make them perfect for custody transfer and group charging. They are most extensively used as household water meters. Millions of such units are formed annually. In industrial and petrochemical applications, Positive displacement flow sensors are normally used for batch charging of both liquids and gases.

While slippage through the positive displacement flow meters declines that is, correctness increases as fluid viscosity increases, the pressure drop through the meter also increases. Subsequently, the maximum and minimum flow capacity of the flow meter is reduced as viscosity surges. The greater the viscosity, the less slippage and the lesser the measurable flow rate becomes.

Nagmanflow's Flow Meters and the complete study

flow meters is a device used to calculate the linear, the nonlinear, mass and volumetric flow rate of a fluid or a gas. When selecting the flow meters, one ought to think about such subtle factors as expertise of plant personnel, their knowledge with calibration and maintenance, spare parts accessibility, and meantime linking failure history, etc., at the particular plant site. It is also suggested that the cost of the installation be calculated only after taking these steps.

One of the most general flow measurement mistakes is the reverse of this sequence: instead of picking a sensor which will execute correctly, an effort is made to justify the use of a device since it is less expensive. Those "inexpensive" purchases can be the most expensive installations. This blog will help you comprehend flow meters, and you can also converse to our application engineers at any time if you have any particular flow measurement challenges.

The primary step in flow sensor variety is to resolve if the flow rate information should be constant or totalized and should consider if this information is required locally or remotely. If a little, how should the transmission be? Should the transmission be analogue, digital, or shared? And, if shared, what should be the minimum data-update frequency. And if an answer is derived from the question, an assessment of the properties and flow uniqueness of the process liquid, and of the piping that will house the flow meter, must take place. To come up to this task in a methodical manner, forms have been developed, so that the following types of data are entered for each application.

The fluid and its specified pressure, temperature, permissible pressure drop, density, conductivity, viscosity and vapour pressure at highest operating temperature are listed, jointly with a suggestion of how these properties might vary or interact. In toting up, all security or toxicity levels should be provided, collectively with exhaustive data on the fluid's composition, presence of bubbles, solids, tendency to coat, and light transmission qualities.

Probable minimum and maximum pressure and temperature values must be given in adding to the usual operating values whilst choosing flow meters. Can the flow reverse, will it always fill the pipe, does the slug flow can develop air-solids-liquid, if aeration or pulsation is probable, can the sudden temperature changes can happen, or only particular precautions are required throughout cleaning and maintenance, these particulars, too, should be confirmed.

Regarding the piping and the region where the flow meters are to be located, consider: For the piping, its course must avoid downhill flow in liquid applications, size, material, and schedule. The engineer ought to identify if vibration or magnetic fields are present or likely in the area if electric or pneumatic power exists, if the spot is classified for explosion hazards, or if there are previous exceptional requirements such as observance with sanitary or clean-in-place (CIP) regulations.

Nagman’s Ultrasonic Level Transmitter – NAGLEV Series US
Operates on the principle of; sensor of the meter pulses in the direction of the product surface. There, they are reflected back and received by the sensor. The meter measures the time t between pulse transmission and reception. The meter uses the time t (and the velocity of sound) to calculate the distance D between the sensor membrane and the product surface. In gas mediums the ultrasonic velocity of the gas is influenced by the gas temperature, so the material level meter compensates sound velocity for the gas temperature at work.
